The day started with a speculative viz-mig session (totals in Andy's previous post). A nice mix of birds and perhaps surprisingly my first Siskin of the year, a few Redpoll and always good to get Yellowhammer & Tree Sparrow over the cliffs.
I was guiding during the day and visited Holme during the morning and again around dusk. Highlights were towards the end of the day with 5 Black-tailed Godwit flying over and 2 Short-eared Owl and a Barn Owl providing excellent views at dusk.
