Raptor fest

It was a bit of a raptor fest from Green Bank midday Monday with 7 Marsh Harrier, 3 Buzzards, Peregrine and Kestrel all taking to the bright blue skies.  In the Harbour a single Spotted Redshank fed in the coal barn creek whilst a 'ringtail' Hen Harrier made its way east.  At the village hide I found the patches 4th Hoverfly species of the year - Eristalis pertinax and photographed this obliging Egyptian Goose.
