A five Ladybird species day today. As well as abundant seven-spot Ladybirds, Robert and I found Harlequin, Pine, 14-spot and 24-spot Ladybirds in Ringstead Downs. Other good beetles included Red-bellied Burying Beetle (4 mating pairs on a dead rabbit), Cardinal Beetle and Water Figwort Weevil.
